Preparations for meeting of young delegates from VPA and VPPS reviewed
PANO - On December 9 in Hanoi, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh, Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), chaired a working session with relevant agencies to review preparations for a meeting of young delegates from the VPA and the Vietnam People's Public Security (VPPS).
This event is being organized to mark the 80th founding anniversary of the VPA (December 22, 1944 - 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the Whole-People Defense Festive Day (December 22, 1989 - 2024).

In adherence to the directions of the General Department of Political Affairs, the Military Youth Advisory Board has collaborated with relevant agencies and units to ensure thorough preparations for the meeting. These efforts include drafting plans and reports for the General Department of Political Affairs, consulting relevant agencies, and selecting delegates from both the VPA and the VPPS.

Speaking at the end of the session, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh praised the agencies and units involved for their high sense of responsibility in preparing the plans and draft reports. He emphasized the importance of meticulous reviews before submission for approval.
Regarding the content of the reports, Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh commended the practical proposals made by the participating delegates and requested the Military Youth Advisory Board to incorporate their feedback. He instructed functional agencies and units to continue reviewing and refining the materials promptly while adhering to the objectives of the meeting. Additionally, he approved the proposals from the Military Youth Advisory Board, emphasizing the need to meet deadlines and maintain progress of all tasks.

The meeting of young delegates from the VPA and VPPS is a meaningful event aimed at educating and inspiring the younger generation. It seeks to foster a sense of responsibility and aspiration for contribution among youth, while honoring the traditions of the “Uncle Ho’s soldiers.”
The event will also provide an opportunity to understand and share with the aspiration of young people in the military and public security force; and across the nation, encouraging them to continue contributing to the national defense and development cause.
