Emulation and reward work to be effectively implemented
PANO – The Standing Organ of the Defense Ministry’s Emulation and Reward Council, on November 15, held a conference, chaired by Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, to review emulation and reward work in 2021 and map out directions and tasks for the next year.
This year, the Central Military Commission (CMC), Ministry of National Defense (MND), GDP and political leaders at all levels have comprehensively and effectively implemented emulation and reward work, in line with the patriotic emulation movement in the localities; learning and following the President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style; and the implementation of the resolution of the fourth session of the 13th Party Central Committee on strengthening party building and rectification, among others.

In addition, the work has created an important motivation, directly contributing to building strong and healthy party organizations and strong units in all aspects, successfully completing all assigned tasks of this year.
At the conference, delegates also discussed measures for the effective implementation of the emulation and reward work in the following year, made proposals to confer the title Hero of the People’s Armed Forces in wartime to recipients, and reported on presenting emulation flags of the Government and the Ministry of National Defense in 2021 to the awardees, to name but a few.
Concluding the event, General Quyet hailed the standing organ’s great efforts in developing the draft report as well as the enthusiastic and responsible contribution of delegates at the meeting. He also requested the unit to accomplish a report to be submitted to the Defense Ministry’s Emulation and Reward Council in the coming time.
