PANO – Nearly 400 veterans who fought in the renowned Dien Bien Phu Battle and now live in Ho Chi Minh City met yesterday to revise their memories of the time.
Colonel Hoang Minh Phuong, Deputy of the Standing Committee for the Dien Bien Soldiers in Ho Chi Minh City congratulated his comrades and encouraged them to live with Dien Bien spirit.
Recently, Dien Bien veterans have worked with the People’s Army Publishing House to publish a book named “Dien Bien soldiers and their stories.”
Most of the stories recalled their profound memories when they fought and served during the Dien Bien Phu Battle.
