In his report delivered at the meeting, Gen. Thanh noted that in 2023, the corps made recommendations to the MND to build the armored force so that it could meet all task requirements in the new context. In addition, the unit’s chains-of-command also directed troops to organize training mission as scheduled with absolute safety and high outcomes.
Meanwhile, the Party and political work was also strictly ensured, all troops had high determination to fulfill all assigned missions. The unit also well implemented personnel, mobilization, and policy work, among others.
In 2024, the corps is determined to promptly conduct military and defense work; strictly ensure combat readiness and grasp situations to address all arising issues; organize training, especially night training; hold "Good Armored Platoon" festival among troops in the whole military; and review combat readiness training task in the 2021-2023 period of the entire armored force.
Addressing the working session, Gen. Nam acknowledged and hailed the unit’s achievements over the past time. He also requested the Armored Corps to continue to strictly observe all directives on military and defense task in 2024 of the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, as well as all resolutions and instructions of higher levels, especially Resolution No.1659-NQ/QUTW, issued on December 20, 2022, of the Central Military Commission on raising training quality in the 2023-2030 period and the following years.

In addition to ensuring weapons and equipment for training tasks, the unit should boost and raise the quality of campaign “Managing and using weapons and technical equipment well, durably, safely and economically, and ensuring traffic safety” (Campaign 50 in short), implement pandemic prevention and control work, and take care of troops’ life.
