Over the past year, they undertook many missions, including the infantry rifle upgrade project, the missions of A40 and A70 (for the national big anniversaries), and the party congress at all levels. The factory's workers also upgraded short-gun K54, 12.7mm air-defense gun, and PKMS heavy machine gun, contributing to strengthening combat readiness and training missions for units in the whole army. The workers' living conditions have been increasingly improved, with an average per capita income of nearly VND 8 million per month last year.
Addressing the event, General Thanh highly valued efforts made by the unit's officers and workers in the past. To improve their production and business, the defense minister urged them to promote their achieved results and overcome difficulties, contributing to fulfilling all assigned missions. The minister also asked them to continue studying to effectively apply scientific and technological advances into their production.
Finally, he proposed that the factory's party committee and commanders should focus on further improving health and living conditions for their workers and employees in the future.
