This month, the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense successfully directed the military to complete all defense and security tasks, ensuring combat readiness and firmly protecting national sovereignty. Meanwhile, recruitment work at military units met set targets with good quality, and preparations for training were effectively completed.

In addition, mass mobilization, policy work, and gratitude activities were carried out efficiently. A report was submitted to the Prime Minister on amending Decree No.162/2016/ND-CP concerning Vietnam’s participation in U.N. peacekeeping operations, among others.

Addressing the event, General Phan Van Giang commended the military for its achievements, requesting them to ensure combat readiness, closely grasp situations to be ready in any circumstances, and more.

He also underscored improving logistics work, defense industry, and advancing administrative reforms and digital transformation in the military, especially the identification of bottlenecks in mechanisms and policies that hinder the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.
