Addressing the meeting, General Cuong praised the school’s achievements over the past time, especially in providing training courses for senior officials of the Party and State and high-ranking officers of the army; and making recommendations to the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense to guide to military-defense-security missions.
Additionally, the academy focused on summing up experience and research on military science and actively fought the “Peaceful evolution” strategy of hostile forces while proactively preventing manifestations of “self-evolution” and self-transformation” within the military.
After briefing international and domestic situations as well as demand of education and training in the military in the new context, the general asked the National Defense Academy’s Party Committee to continue to thoroughly grasp all resolutions and guidelines of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense; further improve teaching methodology and learning quality; apply achievements of the fourth Industrial Revolution to present context; and develop the academy into a leading military science education and research institution of the army and of the country as well.
