National Defense Academy’s achievements reported
PANO – Officers and students of the National Defense Academy (NDA) on April 26 reported their achievements in carrying out the movement “Promoting tradition, contributing talent, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers” to President Ho Chi Minh at Ba Dinh Square.
Accordingly, the NDA took on several policies and measures to effectively implement the Central Military Commission’s Directive 788 and resolutions on Party building, enhanced the movements “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle” and “Promoting tradition, contributing talent, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers.” These emulation movements have become a driving force for NDA officers and students to overcome difficulties to successfully fulfill assigned missions. As a result, the quality of training, education work and lecturers has been increasingly improved. Furthermore, the academy conducted many valuable scientific projects which have been effectively applied to reality and served as scientific bases for the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense to further improve guidelines and policies on defense, military, and national protection in the new context.
For their remarkable achievements in carrying out movements, three lecturers were honored with the titles “Meritorious Teacher”, while 14 others were recognized associate professors. Dozens of lecturers received orders and certificates of merit from the State and Ministry of National Defense.
After the ceremony, the delegates paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum.
