This year’s edition, which attracts the participation of teams from eight countries, namely Australia, Canada, Finland, France, Italy, Poland, the United Kingdom, and host Vietnam, will take place on June 2, 10, 17, and 24 and July 8.

Da Nang city's border guard force is ready to ensure security at DIFF 2023. 

The city’s border guard force will cooperate with Sun Group to arrange search and rescue force near the grandstand and prepare speedboats to transport delegates at all levels. They will work with relevant forces to ensure security and order and conduct search and rescue on rivers, at sea, and sea border areas as requested; develop plans to control and coordinate cruise ships operating on the Han River; deploy forces and vehicles to prevent fishing boats and other water vehicles from entering the area where fireworks displays are held.

The Da Nang municipal Border Guard Command, in collaboration with Emergency Center 115, will send medical personnel to ships to respond to possible emergency situations.

The city’s border guards will also work with local forces to check the operation of tourist ships on the Han River.

According to Commanding Officer of the Da Nang municipal Border Guard Command Senior Colonel Tran Cong Thanh, DIFF 2023, themed “World without distance,” is a significant cultural and social event to popularize the image and culture of Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular to domestic and international friends.

He added that the command will mobilize hundreds of troops and dozens of ships and trucks to complete the mission. 

The command requested units to foster dissemination to help people in border area strictly observe regulations during the event and troops to enhance their responsibility and overcome difficulties to well fulfill assigned missions.
