Reportedly, the organizers brought into play their responsibilities to evaluate contestants objectively and preciously. The participants closely followed the military discipline and the competition’s regulations, enhanced solidarity and mutual learning, contributing to achieving good results at the event.
The organizing panel presented the first prizes to Senior Colonel To Thanh Quyet, Commanding Officer of Division 395 of Military Region 3, and Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Tan, Commissar of Division 312 of Army Corps 1, in the categories for division commanders and commissars respectively. In addition, the organizers presented first prizes to Senior Colonel Nguyen Cong Luc, Commanding Officer of the Nghe An provincial Border Guard Command, and Senior Colonel Le Minh Chinh, Commissar of the Kon Tum provincial Border Guard Command, in the categories for border guard commanders and commissars respectively.

Speaking at the event, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong pointed out several shortcomings in organizing the competition and urged relevant forces and agencies to soon overcome. He noted that the Party committees and chains-of-command at all levels should continue embracing the Party’s resolutions on military-defense missions.
The defense leader required commanders of units and agencies to combine military training with political education, regulatory building and observance of military discipline, contributing to building strong Party organizations in terms of politics, ideology and structure and comprehensively strong units.
General Cuong asked functional agencies of the defense ministry to give instructions to units, launch more referesher courses for all-level leaders, and organize competitions to evaluate training results of units.
