Defense leader visits contestants at competition for division and border guard commanders

During the visit, representatives of the organizing panel reported on their preparation and operation of the contest to General Cuong over the past days. Accordingly, the organizing panel has welcomed and provided COVID-19 tests for all contestants while issuing regulations of the contest and holding a draw to arrange the order of teams joining the contest.

On April 25, the writing test on common theory and Party and political work was conducted. On April 26, participants performed K54 shooting lesson 1 and a line-up regulation test. On April 27, contestants joined a free-style swimming test.

After paying a fact-finding tour to the field, General Cuong asked the organizing panel to well operate the contest, exactly evaluate contestants, and record all results of the contestants.

The chief of the General Staff assigned functional agencies to continue organizing similar contests for commanders from units of the Vietnam Coast Guard and the Naval Service. He urged the organizers to strictly implement the contest plan, ensure absolute safety for all participants and equipment.
