Commando force to join Vietnam International Defense Expo 2022

During the working session, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan applauded the great efforts and high determination of forces participating in the upcoming expo. The martial art performances showed the commando force’s skills and the quintessence of Vietnam's traditional martial arts, contributing to affirming the strength of the Vietnamese military and defense.

Gen. Tan underlined that the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2022 is the first international defense exhibition to be held by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and also one of the significant defense external affairs events in 2022. It is expected to be the place for domestic manufacturers and leading providers of defense equipment and services in the world to meet, exchange and introduce the most advanced and modern weapons, military equipment, and technologies.

In order to successfully organize the expo, Gen. Tan required units and agencies to make thorough preparations and work together to ensure logistic and technical services.

Along with the air force, the commando force will highlight the image of the Vietnam People’s Army at the expo. Therefore, participating troops should heighten their responsibility and determination to complete their assignments, creating a good impression on international friends.

Qigong and kung fu performances

During the opening ceremony of the expo, the Commando Corps will perform martial arts. Especially, participating troops will form the word “VIETNAM DEFENSE 2022.”

The Vietnam International Defense Expo 2022 will take place from December 8 to 10, 2022 at Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi.
