Meeting reviews preparation for Vietnam International Defense Expo 2022
PANO – Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff and Head of the Organizing Panel of the Vietnam International Defense Expo 2022, chaired a meeting on the preparation and organization of the event in Hanoi on October 11.
According to the key report from the General Department of Defense Industry, the standing agency of the organizing panel, as of October 10, 45 partners signed contracts, and seven of them registered to rent pavilion to showcase their products at the event. These partners come from 25 countries.

At the meeting, representatives from sub-committees, functional agencies, arms, and services also reported on the progress of the preparation for the expo and update participants on information about partners and guests to the event.
Concluding the meeting, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan praised sub-committees and functional agencies for their coordination in preparing for the exhibition and building plans to serve the event.
The deputy chief of the General Staff asked relevant agencies to continue reviewing and updating information about partners and guests and make the most thorough preparation to ensure the expo to take place as scheduled.
The Vietnam International Defense Expo 2022 is scheduled to take place at Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi from December 8 to 10 and is the first international defense exhibition to be held by the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.
