PANO - On April 24, a delegation from the Ministry of National Defense, led by Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, inspected the combat readiness at Engineering Brigade 299 (Army Corps 12) and Warehouse K894 (Department of Weapons and Ammunition under the General Department of Technical Services).

Commending the two units for their achievements in fulfilling their missions, Senior Lieutenant General Huynh Chien Thang urged the officers and soldiers of Engineering Brigade 299 and Warehouse K894 to continue to thoroughly implement and strictly carry out combat readiness tasks.

He emphasized the need to strictly maintain duties, closely organize watch and patrols to ensure absolute safety for both units and their stationed areas. Additionally, he stressed the importance of timely supplementation and adjustment of combat readiness plans, as well as active training, especially concerning plans for the units’ protection, fire and explosion prevention.

As national holidays approaching, the units were urged to pro-actively coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and relevant forces to grasp all situations in their stationed areas. They were asked to maintain high combat readiness, handle situations effectively, and enhance training while ensuring full preparation of personnel, equipment, and communication system, ready to carry out missions upon orders.
