CMC’s, MND’s delegation pays tribute to fallen soldiers
PANO - A delegation of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and Ministry of National Defense (MND), led by Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, on April 21, offered incense at a war cemetery in Long Binh ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

This meaningful activity was to commemorate fallen soldiers on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2022), Labor Day (May 1), and the 68th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7).
At the cemetery, in a solemn atmosphere, General Luong, together with other delegates, laid a wreath, offered incense, and observed a minute’s silence in remembrance of heroic Vietnamese mothers and fallen soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, construction and defense.

The delegates also offered incense at each fallen soldier’s grave, and discussed the organization of other meaningful programs on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day.
