CMC, MDN mission visits military units in Khanh Hoa province
PANO – A mission of the Central Military Commission (CMC) – the Ministry of National Defense (MND), led by Senior Lieutenant General Luong Cuong, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CCCPV), permanent member of CMC and Director of the General Department of Politics (GDP) paid working visits on January 12 to several military units in Khanh Hoa province.

Having been briefed on these units’ task implementation in 2016 and missions for the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, General Cuong highly valued the units’ efforts and asked their commanders to continue bringing into full play their leading roles and responsibilities in guiding troops to fulfill this year’s assigned missions.

For units, stationed in strategic areas, the GDP Director emphasized that the units’ troops should promote self-studying to raise their professionalism and capabilities to manage and master modern military weapons and equipment, be absolutely loyal to the Party, and heighten their revolutionary ideal to overcome difficulties to fulfill all assigned tasks.
The general also tasked the units to firmly maintain combat readiness posture and ensure safety and a happy Tet holiday for troops; closely work with localities to take care of policy beneficiaries and needy people in localities where the units are stationed so that they can enjoy a warm traditional Tet festival.
