In response to the campaign "Promoting traditions, contributing talents, deserving to be Uncle Ho's soldiers," border troops implemented a variety of programs to support disadvantaged children with their schooling.

Out of 2,700 students receiving support from the command nationwide, 101 received care from the provincial border guards.

Addressing the event, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee expressed his touching sentiment for the border guards' care for local disadvantaged children and pledged to continue working with the provincial Border Guard Command to help the children study.

On this occasion, the Border Guard Commander handed over a photocopy and three computers to the province.
