Army Youth Board receives noble order
PANO - Army Youth Board under the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) on January 18 celebrated its 65th traditional day and received the Fatherland Protection Order, First Class.
At the ceremony, participants listened to the report on the construction and development of the organ of military youths. Founded on February 8, 1952, generations of youths in the VPA have promoted the patriotic traditions of the nation as well as been absolutely loyal to the Party, Nation, and people. Over the past years, they have taken a vanguard role in carrying out youth movements and in fighting against foreign invaders, making contributions to enriching the heroic tradition of the nation and the VPA.
Speaking at the event, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Don, member of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the Military Central Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, praised and congratulated the Youth Board on its achievements. He expected that military youths will continue grasping the Party’s resolutions and instructions on youth activities, studying to become an outstanding force in the Ho Chi Minh era and effectively fulfill all assigned missions in the time to come.
The defense leader asked agencies and units in the whole army to strengthen the leadership and instruction to raise the efficiency of youth activities, create favorable conditions for young troops to further contribute to the army. Furthermore, Army Youth Board should proactively give constructive ideas to senior levels to make significant changes in implementing movements of military youths.
