Vietnamese Sniper Team ranks second in third stage
PANO - The sniper team of the Vietnam People’s Army ranked second in the third stage of the “Sniper Frontier” event of the Army Games 2020 after excellently completing the “Hunting” exercise on September 1.
In the “Hunting” exercise of the third stage, participating snipers were required to destroy five 50cm x 50cm targets at distances ranging from 300 m - 600 m. Each pair of snipers was provided with six rounds, and had to hit all targets in 25 seconds. Each destroyed target was equal to 10 points.

The Vietnamese snipers scored 50/50 points in 20.11 seconds and ranked first, followed by the Belarusian team (40/50 points in 13.52 seconds) and the Uzbekistani team (40/50 points in 18.3 seconds). The Russian team hit three out of five targets in 16.9 second.
Sniper teams in Group A1 have completed four out of the five exercises in the third stage. The Vietnamese team is currently ranked second, behind their Belarusian peers.
