Vietnamese, Indian air forces boost exchanges
PANO - On April 10, an Indian Air Force delegation, led by Group Captain Sandeep Singh, Head of the Mumbai Air Force Station, had a working visit to Air Force Regiment 916 under Division 371 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service.
The visit aimed to boost the two sides’ exchange and experience sharing to help improve their troops’ capabilities.

In an open and trusted atmosphere, the host and guest concentrated their discussions on such issues of common concern as flight training for young pilots, practical experience in training on different types of aircraft, fitness improvement for pilots and flight crew, search and rescue operations at sea and on land in complex weather conditions and terrains.

Expressing his admiration for practical skills, discipline and standardized demeanor of the Vietnam People's Army in general, and the helicopter force of Regiment 916 in particular, Group Captain Sandeep Singh hoped that in the coming time, the two countries’ air forces would have more effective and practical coordination activities, contributing to developing the two air forces, and strongly and comprehensively improving capability of the two sides’ helicopter forces. The coordination would help strengthen the friendship and cooperative ties between the two militaries.
During the visit, the Indian delegation observed the maintenance of technical conditions of equipment and physical training of Vietnamese pilots.
