Vietnamese high-ranking political officers visit Laos
PANO – A delegation of high-ranking political officers of the Vietnam People’s Army left Vietnam for an official visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic on November 17.

The mission is led by General Luong Cuong, Politburo member, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs.
The visit takes place from November 17 to 19 within a cooperation plan between the Vietnamese and Lao Ministries of Defense in 2022.
It aims to organize activities to celebrate the "Vietnam - Laos Friendship Year 2022, contributing to further consolidating political trust and close solidarity between the two countries in general and the two militaries in particular.
The visit also demonstrates the special friendship and solidarity between the two militaries in general and the two General Departments of Political Affairs in particular.
