Vietnamese delegation visits Fidel Castro Ruz Center
PANO - In the framework of the official visit to Cuba, Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet and the Vietnamese delegation visited Fidel Castro Ruz Center in Havana on October 9 (local time).
The center is dedicated to collecting, preserving, and honoring the legacy of the Commander-in-Chief of Cuba, aimed at serving research purposes and disseminating the ideological values of Fidel Castro to future generations. Immediately after Fidel Castro Ruz passed away, the Cuban government issued a special decree to establish this institution, fulfilling Fidel's wish that after his death, no streets, parks, schools, hospitals, or any centers or institutions would bear his name.
