A view of the talks

During the meeting, both sides commended the positive outcomes achieved through their cooperation in recent years. Notably, security and order along the shared border have been well maintained. Bilateral patrols, information exchange, joint efforts against cross-border crime, supervision of border-related infrastructure, and friendship exchanges have all been carried out seriously and effectively.

In particular, communication mechanisms, such as hotlines and correspondence between local-level units, including A Pa Chai and Sen Thuong Border Posts and the Jinping Meeting Point have proved highly effective.
