At the invitation of the U.S. Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) and the Indonesian Peacekeeping Training Center (PMPP TNI), a Vietnamese delegation of eight trainees and instructors from the Military Medical University, Military Hospital 175, the Vietnam Coast Guard Command, and the Commando Corps participated in the event.

Major General Pham Manh Thang, Director of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations, attended the closing ceremony of MPE at the PMPP Center in West Java province, Indonesia. He also attended an international seminar within the framework of the program.

The Vietnamese delegation actively participated in all training contents, professional exchanges, and experience-sharing sessions with international peacekeeping forces. The exercise provided an opportunity for Vietnam People's Army officers to enhance their capabilities in meeting U.N. standards, sharpen skills for international operational environments, and promote exchanges, mutual understanding, and trust-building with partners.

MPE 2026 – Garuda Canti Dharma III stands as one of the region's premier multinational peacekeeping exercises, designed to strengthen interoperability, facilitate experience sharing, and build capacity for deployment in U.N. peacekeeping environments. The host country Indonesia commended Vietnam’s active participation, noting its contribution to the success of both the international seminar and the overall exercise. The event served as a platform for Vietnamese peacekeeping force to keep pace with emerging trends in training, technology application, gender equality, and operational effectiveness.
