PANO - Lieutenant General Ngo Minh Tien, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, on May 27 received Rear Admiral Allan Du Toit, head of the Australian Defense Ministry delegation, now in Vietnam to attend the seventh Vietnam – Australia Defense Consultation Channel 1.5.
Addressing the event, Gen. Tien thanked the Australian Defense Ministry for its support over the past years in training the human resources for the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense.
Highly appreciating the support of the Australian side for the Vietnamese side in deploying Vietnam’s Level-two Field Hospital No.1 to the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Tien hoped that the Australian side will continue to support Vietnam in preparing another hospital to replace the Level-two Field Hospital No.1 in UNMISS in the coming time.
