In Vietnam, the program includes: Welcoming ceremony for the Chinese delegation at the Huu Nghi International Border Gate, saluting and painting the border marker 1116, planting trees, visiting Dong Dang Primary School, Huu Nghi International Border Gate, and Viettel Logistics Park. Both sides will hold talks and sign cooperation documents during the program.

Maj. Gen. Hoang Huu Chien inspected the preparation work at key areas for the exchange activities, including Huu Nghi International Border Gate, the saluting and painting the border marker 1116, the tree planting ceremony, the inauguration of Dong Dang Primary School, the Viettel Logistics Park, and Huu Nghi International Border Gate. He also checked security work, reception protocols, decorations for the event, among others.

After the inspection, the Deputy Commander of the Vietnam Border Guard Command hailed the functional units’ efforts and thorough preparations for the upcoming exchange program. He also urged them to refine their plans and review all aspects carefully to ensure the success of the event.

General Chien emphasized the importance of the 75th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries in 2025. Therefore, the 9th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange holds significant importance in fostering friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding between the two militaries, border forces, local authorities, and people along the shared borderline.

He also requested border units to actively work with relevant units to finalize assigned tasks to ensure the event’s success.
