Singaporean young officers visit Military Medical University
PANO – As part of the ongoing Vietnam – Singapore Young Officers Exchange Program, on the morning of October 10, a delegation of Singaporean young officers, led by Naval Commander Koh Zhi Chao, paid a visit to the Military Medical University. Major General Nguyen Van Nam, Deputy Political Commissar of the university, chaired the reception.
At the event, Major General Nguyen Van Nam welcomed the delegation to the Military Medical University, one of the leading centers for education, scientific research, and military medicine treatment of the Vietnam People’s Army.

He emphasized that in recent years, the defense cooperation between Vietnam and Singapore has been continuously consolidated and developed, with the young officers exchange program standing out as a highlight. The activity demonstrates mutual trust, friendship, and future-oriented cooperation, while creating a bridge for young officers, who will become the core forces in the future, to gain deeper understanding of each other’s culture, people, and military organizations.

Major General Nguyen Van Nam expressed his belief that the visit would serve as an opportunity for young officers of the two militaries to exchange experience, strengthen mutual understanding, and contribute to further consolidating the friendship and sound cooperation between the two militaries.
