Accordingly, the delegation inspected the Coast Guard Region 1 Command and attended a quiz on Ship CSB 8004 of Flotilla 11.

Reportedly, Commander of the Coast Guard Region 1 Major General Tran Van Tho noted that the unit’s leaders have directed functional units to develop plans for the program and implementation instructions, ensuring all requirements of the program. Meanwhile, they also checked the progress of implementing the contents and promptly fix existing problems to ensure the best results of the exchange program.

Concluding the inspection, Gen. Oai hailed and acknowledged the preparation of functional agencies, while requesting them to raise troops’ awareness of the importance of the event and adjust the program's contents and practice them skillfully so as to successfully organize the program.

This is the first time the Vietnam Coast Guard Command has organized such a program with the Chinese Coast Guard. As scheduled, the event will take place in this August with many meaningful activities, such as paying courtesy calls on leaders of the General Department of Political Affairs, holding high-ranking talks between the two political commissars; visiting the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, to name but a few.

Gen. Oai emphasized the significance of the program, contributing to enhancing and deepening the sound cooperation between the Vietnamese and Chinese Coast Guards. This is also an occasion for both sides to share experience in Party and political work.
