The delegation carried out a comprehensive inspection of locations expected to host key activities of the program in Nghe An. The survey included the reception and farewell areas for delegates and the site designated for a commemorative tree-planting ceremony at Thanh Thuy Border Gate.

The delegation also inspected the barracks and grounds of the Border Post of Thanh Thuy Border Gate, where defense chiefs of Vietnam and Laos are expected to visit.

In addition, the delegation surveyed Thuy Phong Village Cultural House, the proposed venue for a review meeting on the twinning program between residential clusters on both sides of the shared border.

The delegation inspected the site planned for the groundbreaking ceremony of Thanh Ha Kindergarten, and the venue proposed for talks between delegations of the two defense ministries, among other activities.

At a subsequent working session, after hearing recommendations from representatives of participating agencies and units, Gen. Van agreed on several key timelines, and the proposed program schedule and content, enabling relevant agencies and units to continue preparations.

He noted that the findings and recommendations would be reported to the Ministry of National Defense leadership for further guidance to ensure the successful organization of the event.
