Laos’ Houaphanh troops extend Tet greetings to Son La province’s peers

On the occasion of the coming lunar New Year (Tet) 2024, Major General Khameuang Khotvongkhoun, Commander of the Military Command of Houaphanh province, sent best wishes to troops of the two commands in Son La province, hoping that both sides should further tighten their relationship in the coming time.

In the time to come, the two sides agreed to continuously improve their cooperation relations while regularly exchanging information and experience in ensuring social order and security along the shared borderline, contributing to building  the Vietnam - Laos border of peace, friendship, and mutual development.

Earlier, on the previous day, a delegation of Houaphanh province’s Public Security Department visited and extended Tet greetings to the Son La provincial Border Guard Command.
