During the visit, the ship’s chain-of-command are scheduled to pay courtesy calls on leaders of the Da Nang Municipal People’s Committee and the Naval Region 3 Command. The crew will also engage in sports exchanges with officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3, conduct joint training at sea, and visit local historical and cultural sites.

The visit by the Japanese destroyer aims to strengthen cooperation, mutual understanding, and trust between the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and Japanese Ministry of Defense in general, as well as between the Vietnam People’s Navy and the JMSDF in particular.
