Integrated units requested to well organize 4th Vietnam-China Border Exchange
PANO - Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh asked relevant agencies of the Ministry of National Defense and Lai Chau province to boost cooperation to make good preparations for and ensure safety at border areas during the upcoming 4th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange.

General Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the Central Military Commission and Deputy-Minister of National Defense and Nguyen Khac Chu, Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee on September 21 jointly checked the preparations for the exchange.
Tasked to host the exchange, the Lai Chau Provincial People’s Command closely teamed up with affiliates of the Border Guard Command and directed relevant units and localities to prepare forces and places to ensure the success of the exchange. Thus far, all preparations have been completed for the event.
At the working session, General Vinh noted that the exchange is an important and significant event that helps bolster the defense ties between the two countries in a practical manner.
The 4th Vietnam-China Border Defense Friendship Exchange is scheduled to take place from September 23 to 24 in Vietnamese province of Lai Chau and in Chinese province of Yunnan under the co-chair of General Ngo Xuan Lich, Politburo member, Deputy-Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense of Vietnam and Senior Lieutenant General Fan Changlong, Politburo member, Vice-Chairman of the China Central Military Commission.
