In addition to its regular task of manufacturing for defense missions, the military business has promoted cooperation with international partners and exported more than 40 ships of different kinds to European, Latin American, and African countries.
On behalf of the attachés, Brigadier General Toine Beukering expressed pleasure at the corporation’s achievements in production. He affirmed that the cooperation between the Vietnamese military business and the Netherlands’s Damen Corporation is key to both countries’ economic and defense cooperation. He believes more joint ventures will be completed under the cooperation agreement between the two countries, enhancing the success of both the Dutch corporation and Vietnam’s shipbuilding sector.
