The Vietnamese general highly valued the great efforts of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to help the Cambodian government control the pandemic and ensure security in the country over the past time.

General Thang emphasized that the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense did its best to provide more medical supplies, including disinfectant sprayers, protective clothing, N95 medical masks, and medical gloves for the Cambodian counterpart to prevent COVID-19.

He hoped that the support would partly ease the country’s difficulties, contributing to locals’ resumption of normal life soon and national economic development.

For his part, Cambodian ambassador to Vietnam Chay Navuth sincerely thanked the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense for its timely support, adding that it is a driving force for Cambodia to control COVID-19.

The support once again manifested the fine friendship between the two militaries and peoples, thereby deepening the neighborliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

As planned, the Foreign Relations Department will directly hand over the medical supplies to representatives of the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense at Moc Bai International Gate in Tay Ninh province.
