Ba Ria - Vung Tau provincial Military Command visits Cambodian military units on Chol Chnam Thmay Festival
PANO - A working delegation from the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Military Command, led by its Commanding Officer Senior Colonel Tran Van Cu, has visited and extended greetings to units of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces on the occasion of the traditional Khmer New Year festival, Chol Chnam Thmay.
From April 6 to 10, the delegation presented gifts and extended Chol Chnam Thmay greetings to the generals, officers, and soldiers of the Preah Vihear provincial Military Sub-region under the fourth Military Region Command, Intervention Division 3 under the Royal Cambodian Army, and visited the Management Board of Front 479.

On this occasion, Senior Colonel Tran Van Cu expressed appreciation to the Cambodian government and people for their long-standing support for Vietnam during its national liberation and development process.
He also hoped that the relationship between Ba Ria – Vung Tau’s armed forces and military units of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces will continue to thrive, contributing to cultivating the solidarity and friendship between two nations.
Representatives of units of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces thanked the Ba Ria-Vung Tau provincial Military Command for its lasting friendship and support, and hoped to further deepen bilateral military cooperation.
The delegation also took the occasion to visit and present gifts to Military Region 7’s teams in charge of searching and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers in Cambodia.
