Minister of Public Security Sr. Lt. Gen. Luong Tam Quang receives a visiting delegation from the Information Technology Industry Council (ITI) of the U.S. in Hanoi on June 17.

Economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Vietnam and the U.S. continues to be a bright spot, serving as a crucial pillar and main motivation for advancing the bilateral relations, he said.

He suggested the ITI, as a reputable and influential organization in the U.S., continue to enhance its role as a bridge between the two countries' governments and businesses, thus further promoting economic, trade, and investment cooperation, particularly investment by top IT firms of the U.S. in Vietnam.

ITI President Jason Oxman said the agency looks to gain deeper insights into Vietnam's investment environment and policies, thus expanding economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The council hopes that the Vietnamese government in general and the Ministry of Public Security in particular will continue to pay attention to and create favorable conditions for U.S. enterprises to make long-term investments in Vietnam, he said.
