Vietnam and RoK strengthen ties
PANO – Deputy-Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh had a meeting with the Republic of Korea (RoK) National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun in Seoul on November 22 during his visit to the ROK at the invitation of the ROK Govt.

The Vietnamese Deputy-PM affirmed that Vietnam treasures and hopes to further bolster the strategic cooperative partnership with the RoK. The relations and cooperation between the two parliaments are the most important fields of the overall relationship between the two countries.
He suggested that the two countries strengthen cooperation and experience sharing, support each other at regional and international inter-parliamentary forums, create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community who are living and working in the RoK and consider renewing the memorandum of understanding on sending and receiving of Vietnamese laborers to the RoK according to EPS program.
For his part, RoK National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun stressed that the RoK Assembly would create favorable condition for the growth of the RoK-Vietnam strategic cooperation partnership and continue seeking practical measures to support the Vietnamese community in the country.
On the same day, Binh had a meeting with Chairwoman of the RoK’s Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission Park Un-jong.
