Tuyen Quang launches bilateral joint border inspection with China

Speaking at the ceremony, the heads of both delegations affirmed the importance of the inspection in ensuring national territorial sovereignty and maintaining the border of peace, stability, and development. They agreed to further strengthen close coordination and strictly adhere to legal documents on the border signed by the two countries.

Immediately after the ceremony, functional forces of both sides conducted a field inspection along the border in Bach Dich commune, reviewing the current state the border and national markers. During this patrol, the delegations renewed the border markers from No.357/2 to 359, as regulated.

Forces from both sides redecorate national marker No.358.

The joint patrol contributed to improving the efficiency of national border management and protection, while consolidating the friendship, trust, and coordination between authorities and functional forces of both sides.
