During the patrol, Colonel Pham Van Hiep, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Dien Bien Provincial Border Guard Command, and Lieutenant Colonel Linwei, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Mongtu Border Protection Force, agreed on patrol methods and reviewed achievements in joint border management and protection, as well as future operational plans.

Accordingly, both sides conducted patrols from border markers No. 3 to No. 1 along the 3.2-kilometer shared borderline between Vietnam and China.

During the patrol, they cleaned the environment around the border markers and exchanged information on political security, immigration management, and crime prevention in the border area.

At the conclusion of the patrol, both sides affirmed that the borderline and markers remained intact, with no signs of violations of border regulations. They agreed to maintain contact, strengthen bilateral patrols, and promptly detect and address issues related to border management and protection, prevent crimes, and ensure security and stability in the border area.
