During meetings and exchanges, Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Organization Commission Truong Thi Mai affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam treasures the ruling People’s Action Party (PAP) and Singapore. She expressed delight at the strong development of the relationship between the two sides, which has been reflected through visits and exchanges between senior leaders, such as President Nguyen Xuan Phuc's visit to Singapore and Vietnam visits of Singaporean President and National Assembly Speaker.

The Singaporean side said the country views Vietnam as a leading partner in the region and expressed delight at the strong development of connections between the two parties and countries. 

The host also highly appreciated the rapid development of Vietnam after the renewal as well as the countries’ achievements in different fields over the past time. They emphasized their wish to bring into play obtained results and strengthen partnerships in new areas such as digital transformation, green economy and renewable energy.

The PAP welcomed the proposals for reinforcing ties with the CPV and agreed to jointly carry out cooperation frameworks in different fields and organizing personnel training.

On this occasion, the delegation laid flowers at President Ho Chi Minh Statue in the campus of the Asian Civilizations Museum, visited the Vietnam Embassy in Singapore, met with representatives of overseas Vietnamese in Singapore, and worked with leaders of Sembcorp Group and Temasek Foundation.
