Letter from the All-China Journalists Association

The All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) would like to send warm congratulations to the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam is a significant political event of the Communist Party and people of Vietnam. It will issue important guidelines to Vietnam’s building of socialism in the future. ACJA strongly believes that the Vietnamese people under the leadership of the CPV will gain more successes in building socialism as well as in stepping up Doi Moi (Renewal) and open-door policy. The 13th National Party Congress is expected to define a middle- and long-term vision on national development with the aim of building a powerful, prosperous country of Vietnam with a culture-rich, democratic and equal society.

Over the past 70 years, ACJA and the Vietnam Journalists Association (VJA) have continuously enhanced their collaboration under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and Communist Party of Vietnam, contributing to strengthening China - Vietnam traditional friendship. In November 2017, ACJA and VJA agreed on boosting professional exchange and press collaboration. ACJA always attaches much importance to bolstering cooperation with VJA and is willing to bring the cooperative ties between the two professional associations to a new high level.

On this occasion, ACJA wishes VJA more successes in the year of 2021.

Letter from President of the Journalists Association of Korea

I would like to congratulate the Vietnamese people in general and Vietnamese journalists on the upcoming National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The year of 2021 marks 29 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Vietnam. Over the past 29 years, the two countries have continuously strengthened their bilateral relations and cooperation.

Both Korean and Vietnamese journalists have contributed to fostering the RoK - Vietnam friendship via professional exchange and cooperation. I strongly believe that the relations between the two countries will further develop in the future.

In fact, the relationship between the Journalists Association of Korea and the Vietnam Journalists Association started in 1993 but it was interrupted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, Vietnam has successfully controlled the pandemic, and Vietnamese journalists have obviously contributed to the success.

The 13th National CPV Congress is the country’s very important event, and I think, it will issue resolutions to overcome current challenges and visions on national development in the future.

The Journalists Association of Korea wishes to soon renew cooperation with VJA after the pandemic controls.

Letter from President of the Confederation of Thai Journalists (CTJ) and Thai Journalists Association (TJA)

CTJ and TJA know that the upcoming 13th National CPV Congress is a special political event in Vietnam and a very important hallmark in the development of the Party, State and people of Vietnam.

We highly appreciate the effort and support of VJA in boosting cooperation with CTJ and TJA over the past years, contributing to strengthening the friendship and cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam.

We also know that the 13th National CPV Congress will review results of Doi Moi (Renovation) over the past 35 years and results of the implementation of the CPV’s National Development Credo over the past 30 years. The congress will also set strategic goals for 2030 and vision on national development for 2045, with the aim of bringing more prosperity to the Vietnamese people.

We wish success to the 13th National CPV Congress.

We also hope that cooperation between CTJ, TJA and VJA will further expand in the future.

Letter from President of the Lao Journalists Association (LJA)

We are glad to see great achievements obtained by the Vietnamese people under the leadership of CPV over the past years. Especially, Vietnam still enjoyed comparatively high economic growth in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope that the 13th National CPV Congress will create a driving force for the country to develop faster in the future. We would like to congratulate the Vietnamese people and wish a big success to the congress.

We share the same view with VJA that Lao and Vietnamese media agencies should expand cooperation for the sake of the two countries’ interests.

We thank VJA for sending best wishes to the recent 11th Congress of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
