In February alone, Vietnam’s agro-forestry-fishery exports earned USD 1.93 billion, bringing the figure in the first two months this year to USD 5.5 billion, a 1.6% decrease compared to the same period last year.

Particularly, the revenue of agricultural exports was estimated at USD 2.71 billion, a decline of 10.1% and that of husbandry products was USD 77 million, down by 7 %.

However, the sector has seen positive signs as its aquatic export turnover reached USD 1.1 billion, an increase of 4.4 percent, while its forestry products generated USD 1.5 billion, up by 12.8 percent.
