Crowds of people have flocked to the 13th Thai Product Exhibition that opened in Hanoi on August 15.
The exhibition, to run until August 18, is co-organised by the Trade Promotion Department under Thailand’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi and the Vietnam Trade Fair and Advertising Joint Stock Company.
It showcases high-quality products of close to 150 Thai companies, ranging from food, beverages, fruit and household utensils to garments, jewellery, cosmetics, car and bicycle components, decorations, handicrafts and electrical equipment.
Over the past 12 years, the exhibition has attracted many visitors from Hanoi and neighbouring provinces. This proves the attraction Thai products, particularly household utensils and food, have on Vietnamese people.
As many as 250 Thai enterprises are investing in Vietnam, with 80 percent running in the south.
Businesses from Thailand and Vietnam are now exchanging information and experience, and taking part in product exhibitions to study the market, in an effort to lift the two countries’ relationship to a new height.
