Soc Trang province calls for investment in 88 projects
PANO - Soc Trang province will host an investment promotion conference in late this April to call on domestic and international investors and enterprises to pump capital investment in 88 approved projects in the locality, as revealed by the provincial People’s Committee on March 22.
Apart from the conference, the province will launch a startup movement, debut a startup incubator and sign various cooperation agreements to support the development of a startup ecosystem.
According to the provincial Department of Investment and Planning, during the conference, a number of investment licenses, certificates, and MoUs on investment cooperation will be handed over to 44 out of 88 projects calling for investment with the combined investment value of over VND 120,000 billion.
Moreover, based on its potentials and advantages, in the coming time, the province will give priorities to the development of aquaculture and seafood processing, clean power (wind power), sea transport and logistics, ecotourism and sea tourism as well as to the building of deep water ports.
