The Thap Cham-Da Lat tourism railway will be restored soon, said Nguyen Van Doanh, Deputy Director of Vietnam Railway Corporation.

The 84 km-long rail route between Dalat and Cham Tower linking Ninh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces opened in 1932 and closed in 1972 due to the fierce war.

The restoration of this railway is estimated at 3,971 billion VND. It is expected to be operational by 2015.
