In addition, businesses from the provinces bordering Vietnam such as Guangxi and Yunnan, as well as strategic distribution centers in Hong Kong, Shandong, and Henan, will also join to seek high-quality goods from Vietnamese suppliers, according to the Department of Foreign Markets Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).

Pagoda Group (BGY Fruits), a leading fruit retail chain in China with over 5,000 stores across more than 180 cities, is positioning Vietnam as a strategic sourcing hub. The firm’s key targets include durian, coconut, banana, dragon fruit, and jackfruit. Pagoda is actively expanding its procurement in Vietnam, aiming to work closely with Vietnamese partners to standardize cultivation areas and develop high-quality fruit products.
Companies from Yunnan and Guangxi have also registered to source durian, longan, coffee, tea, and cashew nuts, hoping to seek stable supply and transparent traceability to directly distribute these products to China’s domestic retail systems.
The interest from many distributors shows Vietnam's fruits and processed agricultural products are increasingly attracting Chinese consumers, the department said.
Notably, the F&B sector (food and beverage products and services) is drawing attention from reputable distributors. Companies from Taiwan, including Elom Group, Chi Cheng Food, and Gu Gang, have requested business-to-business (B2B) meetings with Vietnamese producers. Among them, Elom Group stands out with nearly 30 years of distributing Southeast Asian products in Taiwan, operating a multi-channel network spanning supermarkets, convenience stores, e-commerce, and a new 24–48 hour island-wide delivery system.
Liang Zhi Long Group represents an integrated F&B supply chain model, covering trend-based culinary research, sourcing and selling raw food materials, cold storage, doorstep delivery, and financial services for restaurant chains, has also expressed its interest in high-quality goods.
Additionally, in the Guangzhou – Shenzhen area, the Infinitus ecosystem and related companies in fruit, consumer goods, and nutritional–functional food segments are seeking high-standard products that can be distributed through the multi-channel O2O model, combining online and offline channels. These companies are expected to serve as key pathways for Vietnamese F&B products to accelerate growth both within China and in neighboring markets.
Making its debut at VIS, Rui Wei Group from Shenzhen brought a diverse product portfolio, ranging from food, beverages, and fresh fruits to footwear, household items, furniture, and home appliances.
The vibrant presence at VIS 2025 shows Chinese businesses will not just attend, they are set to source fruits and processed farm products for retail. They are expected to leverage multi-channel F&B distribution, establish Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) links, and use logistics and legal support as launchpads.
Vietnamese companies only need to prepare capability dossiers, quality standards, and delivery plans to secure B2B meetings at the event, opening chances to access a market of over 1.4 billion consumers through ready-made gateways, the department added.
According to the Vietnam Trade Office in Beijing, several companies specializing water valve and flow control equipment such as Da Yang, Zi Xin, Xin Hua, Kai Zheng, and Tian Qian, along with control technology firms like Duo Meng and Xin Hua He Nan, will come to Ho Chi Minh City this September to seek cooperation with water and wastewater treatment plants, supporting industry factories, and Vietnamese producers and suppliers that meet high market standards and ensure stable supply chains.
