Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Asia list honors the 100 most influential female leaders across the Asia-Pacific region. The ranking is based on several key criteria, including business scale and performance, innovation, market impact, career trajectory, and social contribution. Nguyen Thi Hoa is one of four Vietnamese women featured in the Most Powerful Women Asia 2025 list.

Appointed as General Director of Viettel Global in February 2025, Nguyen Thi Hoa brings with her 15 years of experience in telecommunications and international investment.
Viettel Global currently operates in 10 countries across three continents, serving over 90 million customers, with seven markets maintaining No.1 position in mobile market share. Over the past decade, the company has achieved an average annual revenue growth of 20%, which is four to five times higher than the global telecommunications industry average (according to Gartner).
Alongside strong growth in telecommunications, Viettel Global has also pioneered expansion into the fields of digital services, digital finance, and digital transformation across its international markets, notably the e-wallet field with a growth of 57% in 2024.
Viettel Global is widely regarded as one of Vietnam’s most globally influential enterprises, serving as a commercial bridge that elevates Vietnam’s brand and reputation worldwide.
In the next five years, Viettel Global aims to maintain double-digit growth, enter at least one new market, and expand investments in AI, Cloud, IoT, and cybersecurity, all key technological pillars in Viettel Group’s “Go Global” development strategy.
