Dung emphasized that as Viettel is changing from a traditional telecom operator into an industrial, high-tech, and digital service provider, its branches in provinces and cities should help local authorities to build digital governments, digital cities, and a digital society.
With a strong contingent of competent personnel, adequate IT and telecommunications infrastructure, and abundant financial resources, Viettel’s branches in provinces and cities should promote digital transformation and provide a digital foundation and services for the community. In the coming time, the branch should focus on raising the number of 4G subscribers and take the lead in deploying new technologies.
Over the past years, Viettel Hanoi has successfully changed from providing mobile services to mobile broadband services and landline broadband to landline super-broadband with best quality in Hanoi. Its effective operation has contributed to socio-economic development and defense consolidation in Hanoi.
At the event, Viettel Hanoi is targeted to become the No.1 multi-digital services communications business in Hanoi, which provides IT solutions and digital services to local customers. The company will also strive to become the country’s leading company in data subscription rate.
