Authorized by the State President, Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam hands over the First-class Labor Order to Factory Z189. |
Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Pham Hoai Nam, former Deputy Defense Minister Sr. Lt. Gen. Truong Quang Khanh, and GDDI Director Lt. Gen. Ho Quang Tuan attended the event.
Over the past 35 years, generations of cadres, employees and workers of the factory have exerted all-out efforts, weathered difficulties and challenges, strived to excellently complete defense, economic tasks and export targets with sustainable growth rate.
Notably, in five years, starting 2019, despite difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, armed conflicts between countries in the world, global supply chain disruptions affecting the shipbuilding market, prices of supplies, raw materials, foreign exchange rates, and human resources, Factory Z189 has kept its production and business activities in good conditions, ensuring stable jobs and income for workers and contributing to the state budget.
Particularly, in the 2019-2023 period, the factory achieved nearly VND 4.5 trillion in revenue, contributing an average of over VND 60 billion per year to the state budget. The average income of its workers was over VND 14.5 million a person per month and in 2023 alone, it was VND 15 million.
With its great contribution and attainments gained over the past 35 years, the factory has been honored with a number of noble rewards of the Party, State, and military.
This time, the factory has been awarded the First-class Labor Order, the noble reward presented by the Party and the State. The presentation of the order was the recognition of the factory’s cadres, employees, and workers’ constant efforts and dedication to the military building, defense consolidation and national protection cause.
