Vietnamese badminton player wins Lagos International Classics
PANO - Top Vietnamese badminton player Nguyen Tien Minh on July 27 won the men’s singles at the Lagos International Classics 2019 badminton tournament in Nigeria.
Minh defeated Misha Zilberman of Israel 2-0 (21-18, 25-23) in the final to win the championship.

With the triumph, Minh has further secured a berth at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in Japan.
Earlier, Minh had bagged a bronze medal at the JE Wilson International Series badminton tournament in Ghana.
